Nature is a constant fascination to me and is always unfolding right before our eyes. The varieties are truly amazing. From subtle pastels to brilliant, vibrant colors, change is before us constantly. Is it any wonder I am drawn to photography?

Crown Graphic Shot

The Crown Graphics are the cameras used in lots of old detective films that the reporters used, with the huge flash bulbs on the side. I will try and post a picture of the camera soon. I meant to do that, but didn't quite get to it.

Kiev 4

These were taken with a camera from the Former Soviet Union, called the Zorki 4. This camera has the brightest rangefinder of all the Leica III copies I have handled and the Jupiter 8 lens is also one of the best. I was on my way to work and it was very foggy, but the sun had just topped the mountains and lit up the trees and grasses. The fog, and the opportunity were gone after about ten minutes. It doesn't hurt to be lucky.

The Ansco Viking that is making a tour around parts of the world, is almost ready to leave Canada. There have been four participants in Canada so far, and there will be one more before heading off to the UK.

Bald Eagle Series

My only regret with these pictures is the lack of color. Part of this is due to the film used and part is due to the overcast and drab spring weather. Still love the eagles though.
