M-42 lenses
I am doing some research now about M-42 mount lenses for a new (to me) Pentax SV I bought. I will post images when I get the camera and sort things out. Any suggestions?

Take a look at these two threads. At risk of prices going up :) I'd strongly recommend you keep an eye open for good examples of the Meyer screwmount lenses ... the 100mm Orestor is brilliant, and the 200mm Orestegor. Seriously under-rated lenses I suspect - as good as the Zeiss in glass and possibly even better in build quality. Even the pre-set versions (non-auto) are worth trying.

There's also an interesting page here:

http://m42.povlab.org/ - an interesting site, much information, arranged in an unusual way. I have a rather sizeable collection of M42 lenses, many German (pre-Pentax) and some modern (Japanese). I really like the very old Carl Zeiss Jena 85mm f2.8 Tessar and the 58mm f2 Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar in M42 mount. With an adapter, I also use them on my Pentax digital SLR with full TTL metering and even P-TTL flash. Much fun.
